Being a Good Wife is Hard!!!

We have officially been married for 2 weeks and 5 days. I have really made an effort to be a good wife. But it's not working out so well for me! Since I am on summer vacation, my days consist of cleaning, cooking, and going to the grocery store. The grocery store is my new mall. I am trying to clean out the pantry and the freezer, so the meals aren't tasting too good. I took one bite of bar-b-q brisket the other night and was gagging for about 5 minutes. Last night we ate cod.

The Story Continues...

So I went to San Antonio to visit my friend, Susan. Yes that was the only reason, and wouldn't you know but we just happened to run into Justin at the bar! So a little flirting, a dart game or 2 and he was back at Susan's apartment kissing...my dog! That's right! I bet him that if I beat him in darts, he had to kiss my dog and he did. That impressed me.

Eventually (about 2 months later) I got promoted to store manager of the San Antonio Store, Northstar, and that is when my life changed forever and I had no idea it was coming.

It's funny those moments, or decisions in life that seem so simple, but looking back would have changed everything. Sometimes we know and sometimes, it's as if they happen upon us, either way, I am so thankful.

It Worked!!!

I guess we can safely say that I am a computer master (even though I can't figure out the comment portion)!!

This will be my work in progress. So we're starting at the beginning.

Justin and I met at the Abercrombie & Fitch at Barton Creek in Austin. We were there for an all dirstrict manager meeting. He had long, curly hair and I thought he was so cute! After our meeting we all went out and Justin and I stayed up all night talking. It was incredible. We talked and had a blast just hanging out. The next morning we had to be at work by 8am. I showed up about 7:30 bright eyed and ready to go and Justin, Well, he came rolling in about 10ish--blood shot eyes--the works-to put it nicely, he looked rough, but still so handsome!!
He left to go back to his store in San Antonio that afternoon and I was so sad to see him go. I secretly was hoping that he would call, San Antonio's only an hour away from Austin, but he never called.

We Just Got Married Now What?

On July 19th I married my best friend and favorite person in the world. It has been such a whirlwind with so many thoughts, feelings, and emotions, I just thought this might be a good way to save it. As I was typing this it autosaved...coincidence?

My friend, Missy, has a blog (is that what you call it?) and it is terrific, so I am trying to be like her. She is amazing though, so why not.

I am at a good stopping point because I am secretly afraid it is not going to be there and I am really just wasting my time right now. If it works well then we will continue, if not I will try again probably next year!
